A traditional recipe, courtesy of komrad.
1 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
pinch of salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
200ml cream (optional)
Pre-heat oven to 180C.
Cut the apples into small chunks and place in an oven dish.
Separate the egg whites and beat both the yolks and whites separately.
Add the yolks to the whites and continue beating.
Add sugar, flour, baking soda, and salt to eggs and continue beating.
Mixture should have the consistency of smetana.
Cover apples with mixture and bake for 40 minutes.
Serve with pouring cream.
