Whatsapp and the Wave
Back in the good old days we wouldn't even have ground phones. Sending a letter
was good enough. With no doubts, the phones have made communication easier,
but not every family had one.
But technology has advanced since then, and almost everyone I know has not
only a personal cell-phone, but a smart-phone. And the new way to communicate
is now the application WhatsApp. I don't have a smartphone, yet, and am not
interested in WhatsApp! Can't IRC, XMPP, Skype and other protocols be good
enough? Look, you can share anything by FB or e-mail.
And, my dear family, I do not care to belong to the family's WhatsApp group!
Almost, every weekend when I meet my family, my mom or dad has to hand me a
smartphone because of a pic or video clip published to the family's WhatsApp
group. I do not care for it anymore.
Sorry, but I do not care to be in the Wave.
