I hate those fundraising calls. There are so many ways to make a
donations: buying gifts knowing that a part of what you pay goes
to charity, going to charity events, internet, etc. Why shouldmy
way be receiving a phone call?
They call you and they thank you even if the last time they called
you were extremely rude.
Getting them off your back is not very easy.
I remember once a caller asked if I can spare a minute or two, and
I said "no". Then she asked if she can call a month later, and I
said "call again a hundred year from now". She criticized the way
I remember hanging up and getting called later. Hanging up is
their privilege, and you won't call back.
I do not care to denounce a caller lest they call to
I decided to use one of those "contact us" links to ask to not be
called again. I even sent them a fax titled "Apology" in which I
"I've been rude to you,
hung up phones,
said 'I couldn't care less'
and used profanities.
Do you have any idea why I've done all this?
It's not too late to say that you're sorry."
I contacted them via their site once again, and wrote that they
can stop receiving my messages if they get off my back.
They even promised to put me on some list in order to avoid
I guess there is no use trying to make fundraising call to
some people. Those people are not the nice ones.
