====== Making Fun of GUS ======
As I am moving essays **very slowly**
onto the blog, I have noticed that some are just too big to fit the
whole concept of short, pity blog entries. Once an essay gets to
be a ten or twelve part monstrosity, I just package the thing up as a
cheap e-book and upload it to the Amazon Kindle Store. As you
should know by now, all of life is supposed to be monetized anyway - not
everything is free!
This first big essay to go up
is a vaguely humorous one called //You are Not to Blame for
America//. Over time, you will find that all my humor is vague,
which means that I am not very appreciated in the US, which feeling is
growing more mutual everyday. I have my own brand of quasi-fun at
the expense of the Government of the United States (GUS for short) and
can't resist offering my heart-felt advice to the poor wretches born in
central North America and assigned to USA government control through no
fault of their own.
There is some advice that I forgot to give in the
essay, which is to:
* get your passport as soon as you can,
* flee GUS, and
* wander the easy-visa world for the rest of your life.
Most likely, most of GUS (except the Internal Revenue Service) will
forget you exist and ignore you completely, being a paragon of
inefficiency and sloth. Trust me, being forgotten and ignored by your
country is going to be a condition that you will appreciate in the
months and years ahead!
Ah, read the essay (it doesn't cost much) and gain a new appreciation for being an ignored American (or better, not an
American at all)!
